TONYA OLSEN

PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & FOUNDER

Tonya brings both creative vision and technical expertise to Spruce Hill Design. With a master’s degree in Human Environments from Utah State University, she built her foundation as a partner in a boutique firm and as a senior designer at Barclay Butera Interiors. Beyond aesthetics, Tonya understands construction inside and out — from drafting in CAD to collaborating with builders and architects. Her work spans high-end communities across Utah, multiple Parade and Showcase homes, and projects nationwide. She has also been featured in BUILD Magazine, Utah Style & Design, and on Studio 5 and Good Things Utah.

SARAH HAGEN

LOGISTICS & PURCHASING MANAGER

Sarah brings a strong work ethic and sharp organizational skills to Spruce Hill Design. With a background in criminal justice and ten years as a corrections officer, she knows how to keep things running smoothly. Sarah manages purchasing and order tracking, coordinates with vendors, and ensures every item arrives and installs with white-glove care. She also contributes at the operations table, helping streamline systems and improve efficiency. Known as the glue of our team, Sarah keeps projects moving and clients happy.

LARAE WRIGHT

MANAGING DIRECTOR

LaRae brings 20+ years of leadership across academia, finance, and corporate strategy. She’s held key roles at American Express, launched global Financial Resource Centers, and served as Lead Faculty for Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program. With advanced degrees in finance and conscious leadership, plus experience as an author and entrepreneur, LaRae blends business expertise with a people-first approach — making her an essential part of our team and client success.
